yeah its always tricky when you want people to show up for you who either aren’t able or willing to — you are absolutely deserving of care and attention, but at the same time sometimes you just have to accept that that person isn’t going to give it to you for whatever reason (and then maybe adjust how much care and attention you’re giving them in exchange for so little back. but doing that often hurts too)

@Coxy @The_T pu erh definitely does have a bit of a funk i can see working for this, but i’m surprised they went for plain oolong instead of something smokier—lapsang souchong or similar.

@amy someone tried to argue with me about a semi-obscure fact in a very long novel and i was like “understandable to get this wrong but weird that you’re being so insistent about it?” and then a few days later i found out they’d only seen the TV adaptation, which doesn’t even cover that portion of the novels plot and i just ????
