I saw someone online reference a plot point in a book and someone else said "I don't remember that happening".
So I tried to be helpful and reminded them of when it happens
"I don't think I've gotten that far yet"
??? That's why you don't remember it buddy

@amy someone tried to argue with me about a semi-obscure fact in a very long novel and i was like “understandable to get this wrong but weird that you’re being so insistent about it?” and then a few days later i found out they’d only seen the TV adaptation, which doesn’t even cover that portion of the novels plot and i just ????
