@rowyn very funny reversal from last night where valor was like “in retrospect i handled things terribly while zhenshay seems to like you” and now he’s handling things relatively well while victory has almost attacked their host

@apprendere are we EDS buddies or is there a second chronic rib dislocation disease?

@kate there should be a law that says you’re allowed to slash the tires of illegally parked cop cars specifically

@apprendere happy birthday! apple cinnamon rolls sound like a delicious way to celebrate (also, now I want cinnamon rolls…)

@rowyn a good question, even if getting a direct answer is difficult

@Lucy @wallhackio @The_T @amy no because this is information shared publicly which can thus be legally acted upon. If T had locked the post you might be in trouble though

bodyswapping kdrama spoilers

@ryfulets this is amazing, the show-writers here are clearly the true innovators of the bodyswap trope

@RobotDiver your therapist definitely has a point about grievances — waiting lists are already hell without an additional three years of delay (and lies) for no reason on top of it all

Is This Anything,no idea what this would actually look like or if I'd actually believe it

@Lady @gaditb i agree that saying who one should vote for is much more dubious than merely saying one should vote.

Is This Anything,no idea what this would actually look like or if I'd actually believe it

@gaditb @Lady this isn’t a tenet of my religion so i do not feel strongly about the specifics of execution but if, hypothetically, the pope came out and was like “i feel it is a moral duty that everyone always vote, even when doing so is largely symbolic” that would not be an issue of separation of church and state because the pope is not the government, even if he is encouraging people to take actions which will impact the makeup of the government.

similarly as long as the authority for american civil religion directing people to vote is not the government this is also not an issue of separation of church and state. and the government is currently quite anti voting so i feel safe to assume this is the case

Is This Anything,no idea what this would actually look like or if I'd actually believe it

@gaditb @Lady i feel like saying one has a moral obligation to vote does not necessarily run counter to separation of church and state

@JessMahler not a CoC but perhaps valuable reading: frameshiftconsulting.com/files

this page lists a decent number of codes of conduct (mostly from tech spaces) for comparison purposes across certain key points: geekfeminism.fandom.com/wiki/C The Geek Feminism Wiki’s CoC incidentally is very popular and a good number of CoC’s you’ll find elsewhere on the web are based on it

also, if you like your instances CoC i imagine the admin would be happy to let you borrow from it! mastodon instances have some definite overlap with forums so you may find ir more useful than the general ones above
