Edit: Got what i needed, thanks everyone who replied or boosted!

My synagogue is looking at starting a forum on the website, as part of getting away from Facebook as our most active online presence.

Does anyone have a sample/example rules for a forum/online community we can build off of, rather than trying to come up with a good rules set from scratch?

@JessMahler not a CoC but perhaps valuable reading: frameshiftconsulting.com/files

this page lists a decent number of codes of conduct (mostly from tech spaces) for comparison purposes across certain key points: geekfeminism.fandom.com/wiki/C The Geek Feminism Wiki’s CoC incidentally is very popular and a good number of CoC’s you’ll find elsewhere on the web are based on it

also, if you like your instances CoC i imagine the admin would be happy to let you borrow from it! mastodon instances have some definite overlap with forums so you may find ir more useful than the general ones above
