this is a bit tedious because the food processor is not hefty enough to break up the 2 tbs black pepper so i have to grind it by hand but for anyone who wants to give it a shot:

1/2 c ish nutritional yeast
2 tbs fine salt
2 tbs black pepper
2 tbs thyme
2 tbs ground coriander seed
3 tbs jerk dry rub seasoning (which i got at the farmers market but contains scallions, cayenne, pimento, more of the ingredients i’m already adding separately, citric acid, and brown sugar)

whiz it in a food processor/blender until everything is a fine and even texture. or dont and accept that it’ll settle unevenly/some of it might not stick

mixing new popcorn seasoning today while the bread bakes

@alis yeah i mean i’m tempted to blame that on the rules as written and not the actual eco friendliness of the place itself

@alis point, tho i feel like a smaller window in every room would accomplish that goal more pleasantly (and also allow for opening windows for the breeze instead of ac in the shoulder seasons) instead of giant windows in the living room and completely windowless bedrooms

@Lady @alyssa they like to put rice vinegar in tall skinny bottles designed to not take up too much space on ones counter, whereas we prefer shorter chunkier bottles that fit in the cupboard
