@Betty also have illegible handwriting so i feel you (tho i do feel like big all caps block lettering like you do on a sign is usually one of the more legible forms of my handwriting, even if it doesn’t look nice at all)

@lostletters also while i rarely do the proper 54321 grounding exercise, i do find spending a few minutes consciously engaging my senses very helpful. eg. making a mug of tea and really taking the time to notice how it feels warm in your hands, enjoy the smell, etc. other options could be feeling the softness of your beadspread, or trying to put your full focus into just listening to a song
@lostletters if the weather etc allows it, i find spending at least a few minutes outside every day to be incredibly beneficial to my mental health. even better if its during daylight hours (even if theres no sunshine) and best if i can look at some growing things in the process

there are a number of urban farm projects around here which seem to do pretty well at supplementing a communities food needs but while they have the potential to be answers to “this community has limited access to fresh fruits and veggies due to being a food dessert” the areas of my grocery bill that i’m expecting to really hurt in the coming months is all fats & protein which generally require a bigger operation than an urban farm can manage (historically the solution here would be chickens which are extremely practical in small plots and help w/pest management for your veggies, but bird flu is already causing problems there….)
