@Lady i muted a european earlier today for having takes actually

@aescling @Lady @coriander do you mean their unsweetened version? they do not have a fake sugar version afaik

@britt is Midodrine available in Canada? My sister had good success w/it while she was on Adderall.

Also throwing out taking an electrolyte supplement (i go for skratchlabs.com ) and compression tights—which hopefully your doctor has already recommended but if they’re at ‘do your own research’ maybe not so i figured i’d double check

@bright_helpings @DrSuzanne so much of the stigma around disability is already “why havent you just gone to the right doctor to Fix This” that saying glasses are the same thing feels like it’d only make the situation worse tbh

@Rozzychan i clicked through to the paper and letters are indeed missing on my copy also! though i cannot say if they are the same ones 😅 what an odd mystery

@Forestofglory yeah i don’t realize how much i depend on stuff like body language/affect and hairstyles until its not an option 😂

@Betty i always feel like an asshole city person when this question comes up because everyone i know irl is either great at parallel parking or just doesn’t own a car so i’m like “you mean, they don’t know how to drive?”

@alexeven hey welcome! one little tidbit that can take a while to pick up on, is that the character counter on mastodon counts all clickable links as 23 characters regardless of actual length—so link shorteners do nothing! This came about bc a lot of early mastodon users disliked the way most shortening services fund themselves thru tracking & selling user data

if you’ve got any specific questions, just dropping them in a public post like this is great, or you can try checking fedi.tips

@wallhackio @Lady “i wrote that code specifically to discourage contributions, because github doesn’t let you block pull requests”

@titania oh wow i would be freezing in that costume! hopefully he has fun and keeps all his toes

@lookitmychicken yeah i don’t think we should go use his proclivity for twinkishness as like “proof” that he’s queer bc theres no such thing. And I know Korea has a whole bunch of stuff going on re:masculinity that I as a USian am not necessarily going to read correctly either.

But I also deff do not agree that being a twink is a neutral concept w/no relation to queer culture

@lookitmychicken 1) while twink has some connotations of body type, you do also have to present yourself the right way (in terms of dress, mannerisms, how you carry yourself) in order to fit the aesthetic
2) that aesthetic was one created by and for a particular subculture queer men

so while a straight man could, hypothetically, make a series of choices that would lead me to think they were a twink, i don’t think it’s something that really happens outside of eg. celebrities who are generally getting styled by other people anyway (and also “made me think they were a twink” doesn’t necessarily mean they are one)

@wallhackio @aescling the lions would definitely loose in a pokemon battle. In a football game I think it depends how the rules were adapted to non humans (eg if one knocks the ball out of the air with psybeam does that count as an interception or)

@alyssa @gaditb well, it has every year for the last millennia apparently so it seems p safe to me
