@djsundog it's true of the fediverse because it's always been true of the internet more broadly

there's never just been one, but somehow they're all interconnected and messy, and that's what makes it beautiful

@cleverclue even when it isn't, what happens when that person dies, steps down from their post, or has a change of heart? it's unconscionable to make a community dependent on a support structure with such awful failure modes

i hope they do canadian french too

which means if they DON’T have latin american spanish, they are at least planning for it
