@coriander @wallhackio i thought Snowpiercer was mostly like “what if we made a movie with the storytelling of a video game”

@wallhackio michiganers don¦t know about clambering???

it takes a lot of stamina to live the way that they do

@alyssa i thought this was a good post but also like Blue Scholars literally did a song about this so you don¦t gotta speculate

today is a good day to print out articles from 90s legal studies journals??? and underline them with a Pilot Precise V5 RT???

@wallhackio what if you also built by hand a better workflow that sits on top of the horrible one

when you check the book on worldcat and the only libraries with a copy are all Ivy Leagues……

i just wanted to do a brief overview of a topic for a blogpost how am i already purchasing two books and trying to ILL another one

@SportsGoblin probably for the best it seemed like @wallhackio's heart rate really suffered

@SportsGoblin glad to see you are still alive after the Lions btw

@SportsGoblin i wish all MAGA football players a very stub your toe

@Satsuma i am glad history has better standards than legal studies

“the Eurocentric worldview measures and validates things in reference to European values and paradigms [two citations]” thanks, buddy. i never would have guessed

one of the most baffling aspects of academic house style to me is the implicit presumption that the person reading your paper lacks the information literacy to research and validate the intellectual groundwork upon which you make your claims if you don¦t point them to a literal book on the subject first

Show thread

there is a lot of “i feel this claim needs evidence but it is also obvious and widely‐recognized and has a whole school of literature about it so i just picked the top search result” going on here

for example, “indigenous and local communities were colonial subjects and victims [three random citations]”

this paper is not good but hopefully their citations have something
