@kouhai it is difficult, when you have good but fragile stickers!

@hoja having been exposed to the untamed fandom i think this is a completely reasonable take

@kouhai i mean, or just lean into the whole “life is ephemeral and so are these stickers, my water bottle is an always evolving work of art” aesthetic

@kouhai some types of stickers are much better at surviving washing than others—bumper stickers / other stickers advertised as weatherproof are usually much better at staying on & not getting damaged

@hoja @wallhackio i mean technically none of my criticism was even about deltarune

@wallhackio that is good it would have been very sad if you’d overhyped it

@wallhackio does it live up to your full week of anticipation

@aschmitz @gaditb imo this is the better way of engaging with fedi tho — i would have left this site years ago if it was all posting and boosting instead of replying

@aschmitz oops i guess we were probably in that boat? glad you were able to sort out the issue!

@MissConstrue what a lovely project! i live in a city, so i don’t have the space for a full prairie garden like you, but i’ve been planting native plants in the median and the tree pits near my house and it’s amazing how many bugs and birds just those small scraps of green can support

Customer service, phones, and AI (-)

@kiesa oh no! this happened to my parents last year — owner of the roofing company who used to be one of the most reliable ones in the area suddenly came down with a bad case of ai delusionality

@MissConstrue goldenrod! would need a better look at the leaves to know which one, but there’s many goldenrods which are native to north america so if its shown up in your yard randomly i’d assume it’s one of the native ones

please ignore anyone telling you it’s an allergen — that’s an urban legend based on the fact that it blooms at the same time as ragweed, which many people are allergic to. as a general rule of thumb most of the bad allergy plants are wind pollinated (which is why they’re putting so much pollen in the air) so you wont see a ton of pollinators on them

@stelepami struggling to believe that home depot is any hornier

@wallhackio guess you’re going to have to make lots of pancakes to practice

@apprendere oooh those pieces are both lovely! sounds like a fun research dive

@apprendere yeah i mean, the fact that we’re naming the aesthetic after a japanese animation style is maaaaybe a sign that the west did not in fact invent said aesthetic & the whole thing is just appropriation

but like you i’m not really knowledgable enough to talk about the history of the style past that point

@rowyn this one would definitely freak me out too tbf — no one likes to loose their companions / get lost themselves while they’re asleep and can’t even do anything about it!
