@rachelcleves@historians.social oh thats fascinating! i've read historical letters that abbreviate pretty heavily (to save space on the page and effort both) but i'd never heard of a connection between j.k. and queerness

@maya tumblr (or at least used to?) only indexes the first 5 tags which does help cut down on that issue

@Anke @rowyn i also feel like the more ‘generic’ tags are a lot more likely to see people linking to stuff, reposting, etc while FediArt is like ‘this is art i’m made as a member of the community’ so much more likely to be peoples own original work

@soph_sol @Betty yeah i always sit there during the HEA’s of those fics like, this is all going to happen the exact same way two months later, isn’t it. Which doesn’t feel v satisfying to me!

Agree that the underlying issues are much harder to solve but i wish they just wouldn’t write them if they didn’t want to address it, personally
