@aescling charizard ex players still haven't learned how to fucking read
@aescling i think my deck might be better now lmao
@coriander the local mexican place has an "experimental" section of their menu but it's still affordable and also you can get horchata and churros; why would you choose some fancy place over that
@coriander there are so many delicious family-run restaurants with affordable food that you could eat at instead if you were willing to pick a cuisine other than New American
@aescling mimikyu and seismitoad aren't forbidden yet so i'm still in business
@aescling of course real tcg is something you play with your friends and the meta is always changing because the set of possible cards isn’t {any card available in the standard format} but {the cards that you and your friends have on hand}, but
@aescling well yeah, that’s the idea; once you learn what the meta is you get tired of the meta
re: ah yes LGTB
@aescling @coriander correct
ah yes LGTB
@coriander lately we’ve been doing Let’s Get This Babka and let me tell you, massive upgrade

@coriander they're basically 100 meters, but they measure in yards, so it's 110, and midfield is at 55, which looks really weird
@coriander wikipedia seems to suggest canadian football uses yards so maybe i'm mixing two things up? i think THEY have to throw more because they have a wider field
@coriander my understanding is canadian football has to rely a lot more on throwing for this reason
@coriander i believe it was very popular in china
@aescling you would be like “oh! huh! interesting”
