on the one hand, this isn’t as terrible as it sounds since a majority of board seats ARE up for election this year
on the other hand, they’ve yet to confirm that there even are four antiracist candidates running and they certainly haven’t said who they are
on the gripping hand, the O·T·W board actually does not have much real power, so this seems at best like it won’t produce much in the way of results, and at worst like a good way to position yourself to take the blame (should your candidates get elected and not be able to deliver) for all the things the organization has been failing at so far

@coriander i'm down for medieval westerns but i would be incredibly surprised if they could pull that off as an animated kids movie
@coriander honestly though like most zelda games are just way too much to fit in a movie
i think your options are either to make it a western, where link the wandering swordsman strolls up to some town facing a problem and does a dungeon to solve it and then rides off into the sunset
or else do literally the plot of the very first game where ganon kidnaps zelda for her triforce, link rescues her nursemaid as she is running to get help, and then something something triforce he takes ganon down

• took on kohga again
• okay now i have to figure out how to get OUT of here

• stopped by the yiga hideout in gerudo canyon but they wouldn't let me in, rude

• checked in on gerudo town since i’ve otherwise done all that i need to in that area

• busted into gerudo town; tracked down the clothing store; got some SAND BOOTS and SNOW BOOTS which i have been sorely missing

@aescling to me the cinematography in memory 7 is really not subtle. rauru is a colonialist fuck speaking from a place of power / advanced war technology and ganondorf understands completely that the only way for his people to have freedom is for him to manage to acquire a secret stone for himself
this isn't untrue in other incarnations of ganondorf re: the triforce but it's usually a lot more subtle than rauru blasting ganondorf's entire army off the side of the mountain with a beam of light
