Whoever designed Lillie was a genius. She's already my favourite part of that game but dressing her up to look like Nihilego is so, so good

There are some in-universe implications about why exactly she dressed that way that are sad enough, but that's not even what I mean

It may not be true for you the player, but Lillie's story is about found family. Her story is about parental neglect, the bravery to do what you know is right, and discovering the people who accept you for who you are

And through only her visual design, the parallel couldn't be made clearer. She looks just like the thing her mom loved instead.
