@coriander on the one hand: they didn’t take away zelda’s sword; they had already made the decision to take away the sword before they settled on Zelda
on the other hand: okay but when does Zelda get a sword tho
(Zelda has a sword in Twilight Princess, Hyrule Warriors, and Phantom Hourglass (kinda))
[technically Tetra also has a sword but i don’t think she ever uses it]
@coriander dunno if it helps or hurts their cause that they were originally going to have the protagonist be Link, and only switched to Zelda after they were like “well if you can just use your sword, what’s the point?”
@coriander light a pumpkin on fire
@coriander i don’t want CHARACTERS i want CUTE WITCH GIRLS who knock into me on their broomsticks and then act all tsundere
@coriander karlach is chaotic neutral the same way puppies are
@FirstProgenitor @coriander i think gale is evil with the caveat that i understand that gale is a caricature of wizards generally and i'm not sure i can hold this stance too strongly without just condemning all of them
@coriander minthara is a paladin??
@aescling unfortunately expanding the homeowning class is one of the few remaining viable options for growing the bourgeoisie so she’s trapped in that respect
not just big landlords, but all the little landlords who buy up all those new homes you build and then hire property managers to rent them out
look mate i’m a millennial, i don’t care about “building more homes”, i care about regulating landlords
“Gabriel Teodros, who helped organize the event” still need to listen to Teodros tbh but glad he’s still out there doin shit
@coriander see i’m playing a Monk/Bard so
