@coriander OBVIOUSLY I DONT THINK THE BG3 CHARACTERS HAVE ALIGNMENTS BUT GALE IS LITERALLY TRUE NEUTRAL HE DOES EVIL SHIT FOR SELFISH REASONS ALL THE TIME, HE DOESNT LEAVE WHEN YOU INVADE THE GROVE, HIS PRIMARY MOTIVATOR IS LITERALLY "LEARNING AND OBTAINING KNOWLEDGE" AND HE DOESNT REALLY CARE WHAT THE MEANS TO DO THAT ARE. I DONT THINK HES EVIL, BUT HE IS 100% CAPABLE OF BECOMING A HORRIBLE PERSON IF PUSHED IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION. HOW. HOW. HOW AR ETHEY THIS WRONG

@FirstProgenitor @coriander i think gale is evil with the caveat that i understand that gale is a caricature of wizards generally and i'm not sure i can hold this stance too strongly without just condemning all of them
