« My peers seemingly have forgotten completely media literacy and critical analysis skills. They insist upon the curtains only being blue as if the story is interesting without any deeper meaning or having the ability to see deeper than a puddle. They insist that writers who use anything less than banging the viewers over the head with a hammer is cowardly.
The only thing that is cowardly is their inability and refusal to afford any interpretation with thought or depth. They disappoint me in the eyes of God, Mankind, and Nature. »
@SportsGoblin they haven’t for years and the only reason they’ve gotten away with it is because they’ve had Wilson
@SportsGoblin the seahawks have no offensive line?
re: self‐harm
@Satsuma i don’t think anyone will ever phrase a self‐harm question in a way that i will like though; i think the question of “harm” is very mired in questions of normative expectations / assumptions / being a productive citizen
re: self‐harm
@Satsuma i would be hesitant saying “most people” there; some people very intentionally DO get tattoos because it is a socially‐acceptable form of self‐injury
probably not “most” people who get tattoos but it’s not uncommon
self‐harm
@Satsuma « Have you ever had thoughts of purposely hurting yourself without wanting to die » they could really stand to clarify this question. do sports count? what about tattooing? what about painplay?
@Satsuma responding “N/A” regarding « Non-LGBTQIA+ friends »
@Satsuma noted; i would too lol
@Satsuma also the categories are mildly confusing; the question is “how out are you?” but the response values are as if the question was instead “to how many people are you out?”
@Satsuma they should add a “i have no fucking clue” option to « D1. Which of the following best describes how "out" you are to various groups, about you being asexual or on the asexual spectrum? »
