@wallhackio at least in C++23 it returns a prvalue, which can be implicitly converted to an xvalue. although, hmm, an xvalue is only a glvalue, not an lvalue (which the assignment operator requires) so that doesn't seem to explain it. alas idk
@wallhackio it's just outputting the address of a temporary object? and then a newline? why wouldn't it compile? there's not even any UB here i think (since you never dereference the resulting pointer)
@wallhackio which will become awkward when @Lady posts another one
@Lady @wallhackio i opted to answer one with the "toki pona li pona" answer and one with the "toki pona li ike" answer
@Lady you should cosplay Rika sometime. seems like it'd suit you
@xsssm apologies :<
@wallhackio i haven't heard it but i think it's called Same Love?
@wallhackio i think there’s a macklemore song about this.
the thing is that there are a lot of men out there who can write really well, except they can't quite imagine what it's like to fully see women as people. so. pretty frustrating reading them when even their female characters don't actually recognize other women as people.
no image description, repost
@aescling yup that's me and my wife. how'd you get that picture
@aschmitz weirdly enough kinda midway between despite being younger than both.
