my wife called me on my having named my sewaddle Arachne when the sewaddle line sews, they don't weave.
for example: we hung it up to dry, and then when we gave it back to her, she immediately dropped it in her water cup. then did it at least two more times in like three minutes
i think we now have convincing evidence that vivi prefers for her toy rat to be moist

some things that spanish uses the same word for:
- the outer layer of the earth (the crust, in english)
- the outer layer of a tree (the bark, in english)
- the outer layer of the brain (the cerebral cortex in english, which turns out to be ~the same word)

- can't move my leg without waking her
- sometimes there are reasons to want to move my leg
cats have very interestingly shaped mouths
