i appreciate the countries named after the equator for making it easier to know what hemisphere they and other countries are in

i have finally reached the "i harvested more berries than i can immediately replant" with sitrus berries in my platinum playthru

lum berries are still a long ways away tho

@Satsuma mostly i’m annoyed because my inclination was to choose the right answer but i dismissed it because they said it was from mythology hehe

upset at this eggheads episode for describing the sword of damocles as being from Greek mythology. that's a probably made-up story about an actual historical dude

spoilers for the mammal taxonomy quiz

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinkajou i had no idea there were procyonid monkeys (yes i know not actually a monkey but)

i do in most contexts consider whales and dolphins to be fish. for analogous reasons to considering strawberries fruits.

seals and manatees and such are iffy, while otters are definitely not fish.
some marine invertebrates are also kinda fishy but not really fully so. cephalopods, marine crustaceans, etc.

@Lady @aescling @vaporeon_ @wallhackio it's okay fish aren't a clade anyway (if they were, whales would be fish, but so would, like, humans)

@wallhackio i have heard both names but don't actually know who they are

these ninja boys are kinda adorable

@wallhackio @aescling @Lady olive vegetable (橄榄菜, gǎnlǎn cài) is a Chinese condiment which combined like, pickled mustard greens and pickled Chinese olive. it's very yummy

@wallhackio @aescling @Lady fear not. the Chinese olive has no relation to the European olive.

@aescling @wallhackio @Lady olive vegetable might be a little awkward texture-wise. but it would definitely improve the flavor
