i am sure there are games whose cutscenes are simply wasting your time but i think that, instead of letting people skip them, you should either make the effurt to make them suit the game, or just not even have them at all in the furst place
this video in purrticular. to be blunt, if you are narratively contextualizing a game with cutscenes, i would hope they cohere with the game you are making, to an extent that i would consider it a completely reasonable artistic choice to not let people skip it. if the cutscenes are there i would HOPE they are impurrtant
