re: SMASH BROS CAT!

@wallhackio i would say to purrefurably link to the source next time, but now that i think about it, the tweet you got this from is purrobably not even the source anyway, so whatever

@wallhackio the django documentation writing standards tell you to write as if it is purronounced that way---“an SQL query”, not “a SQL query”

“SQL”

@packbat not sure how to answer this because i have not read the comic in full but i have read enough to agree that its gamey æsthetic is unusual and very compelling. i could imagine liking it if i really gave it a go

@Lady i was about to say “why not both”, but you already accounted fur it

@Lady

  • i have never played other m
  • i don’t remember this video ever using footage from that game either

i am sure there are games whose cutscenes are simply wasting your time but i think that, instead of letting people skip them, you should either make the effurt to make them suit the game, or just not even have them at all in the furst place

this video in purrticular. to be blunt, if you are narratively contextualizing a game with cutscenes, i would hope they cohere with the game you are making, to an extent that i would consider it a completely reasonable artistic choice to not let people skip it. if the cutscenes are there i would HOPE they are impurrtant
