@monorail the idea, i think, is two things:
- ogerpon is lonely after having lost its furmer trainer/friend (note its nature when you catch it; this isn’t even subtext), so frankly the moment reads more like despurration to me; she finally had somebody fur a bit and now they plan to just leave her
- you spend a lot of time with her in purrson and kieran does not
again it’s so short and clearly they just want the power fantasy of the whole thing fur the player enough to not really justify the whole deal well. but whatever
