@lookitmychicken what a lovely spot to sit! your place seems so cozy and cheerful

@kate this seems like an excellent character/reference combo

@rowyn very curious about what that person who thought Honor was Cassie will have to say about where she went! Hopefully we’ll run into them again sometime soon?

@rowyn scything the yard is a nice practical task. I think our mystery journalists fellow witches would approve (don’t love what it says about how long cassie has been gone tho)

@akjcv@types.pl i have never seen this man before in my life

@akjcv@types.pl its okay here by dint of this being a city that was mostly planned and constructed pre-car but it definitely could be a lot better

@akjcv@types.pl my mother was just at a talk about how bike infrastructure is fucked bc no one in the us puts in the money but also it would still be fucked if we did put in the money because we dont teach our city planners/road engineers/etc how to actually plan for bikelanes

@u2764 i went to a number of protests in both highschool and college but none of them were die ins

@soph_sol i am glad things are moving in the right direction!

all three of those sound like great comfort foods <3

@Lady @aschmitz @aescling if someone said “platos cave is a metaphor for how the constructions of society blind us to deeper truths” i might quibble with the second half of their sentence but the first would not even register to me as arguable

@Lady @aschmitz @aescling i’ve always viewed metaphor as the broad umbrella category which includes both similes and allegories and also other things which we haven’t named and therefore just get called metaphor by defauly
