@noracodes i’m currently part of several on Dreamwidth (which is a LJ fork) and they’re mostly fine—some communities are definitely shitty and places like failfandomanon definitely invented brigading before it was cool but overall I def prefer them to other forms of social media organization i guess?

I suppose the individual patients in the study in question were asked more detailed questions to rule it out (as it would have also provoked milk reactions from some other foods—fermented stuff and capsaicin are both triggers) and then it didn’t make it into the article as an option for other people looking for answers…
