that said, if you *do* want to involve food, strays will totally hide food for later if it’s something they can carry around—it’s not super common, cats really prefer to ear their food fresh, but in a survival situation one will make all kinds of compromises

@asya @imp depends! when we met Miko (he was originally a street kitty) he ate like a can and a half of food (which is a LOT for a kitty that size) but once he’d gotten his fill he immediately moved on to priority two: catching up on sleep in the safe warm place
