@naugeleh @signalstation it frustrates me bc if everyone was masking and testing regularly, and buildings had actually upgraded their hvac filtration systems then it’d be much more reasonable to have eg. the person actively giving a presentation unmask to make it easier for people to hear/read lips

But bc we havent done those things as a society, there’s basically no context i’d ever be willing to unmask for access reasons

@runpunkrun the NYT has a marshmallow cookie recipe i’ve been meaning to try ( https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1024782-mexican-hot-chocolate-cookies ) which recommends freezing the marshmallows solid to reduce the melting issues. So perhaps they do something similar for their photos? Tho why not just include it in the recipe as a tip in that case….

@twistylittlepassages i feel like my wis/int/cha are all high enough to get by—don’t have great strength and my dex is…lets say narrowly applied and while a free boost to either might be *nice* i don’t think it’s quite as important as remediating my terrible con (which also gets in the way of doing the things which would build strength and dex naturally)
