@soph_sol you could search through the old ones on local storage using something like archive-explorer.com maybe?

re: CW: food, baking

@pixouls filo dough maybe??? those sheets can get huge before you fold them up but like…who has the counterspace

@moonchildontheblueside @yesterdaychild @ClarityClare7@apobangpo.space @asya @sopebakeshop that would explain why we’ve never seen it

@moonchildontheblueside do u think the “i think i’ll wear this home” line included the shirtlessness under the jacket

@sissi oooh yes i can picture exactly that color, even though i have no idea what the right word for it is!

@sissi rust i think can go either way? “rusty” is *definitely* dirty/uncared for but saying a shirt is eg. rust red probably doesn’t mean someone left it out on the iron fence and it stained. And I think iron based red paints are often labeled “iron oxide” (which of course is just rust) because it sounds nicer haha

But yeah its funny how some languages have lots of color words and others are like “ehhh five colors is probably fine”

@sissi oh neat! yeah the english names for other metal oxides have connotations more like what you describe with verdete—eg. tarnish (silver) or rust (iron). I guess verdigris is just pretty enough to be more associated with the on-purpose-for-paints variety? or something like that :)

@sissi oooh those are all really pretty colors! what a fun mixing experiment

also re: your image desc, verdigris is a word for oxidized copper and/or pigments made from it and/or pigments emulating pigments made from it. So its a whole broad category of weird light bluish greens. I quite enjoy them, generally

crosswords spoiler, shoutout to a mufo lmao

@ljwrites hahaha yeah you probably shoulda gotten that one 😆

@pamela its TERRIBLE and the city is just like “thats what trains are like sorry :/“ even though nowhere else is like that!!!!

Fredrick is CONVINCED that Neverwinter was founded by dragons, and about half the party suspects the White Council of being the Wight Council

What is the most ridiculous thing your tabletop character wholeheartedly believes due to a failed history/insight/etc roll?

@pamela (source backing up my london complaints, because its truly difficult to describe without sounding like one is being hyperbolic: wired.co.uk/article/london-tub )

@pamela i’m very partial towards the gentle clanking rattle of SEPTA regional rail (South Eastern Pennsylvania) personally, though thats admittedly in part because I grew up with it

Worst is without a doubt London’s metro system, where evidently not a single thought was spared towards the passengers’/crews’ auditory comfort. At least half the lines squeal loudly enough to make one worry about hearing damage at every curve (and the london metro is nothing *but* curves)
