@aescling what horrible things have you been watching with unlikable bimbos

@wallhackio there are THREE INTERMISSIONS in which you could take a sleep

@wallhackio just watch it tomorrow nerd

or pause partway thru it has chapters

@The_T @DeliaChristina i second Chumbawamba, especially the album “Singsong And A Scrap” (which is more folk than most of their records). “Smith & Taylor” is a highlight for me

Blue Scholars are good and pro-labour, but Filipino Maoist, so probably don’t meet your criteria for antiauthoritarian.

re: c++ complaining, wall of text

@aescling @wallhackio if you want an arbitrary array of bytes you Should use unsigned char[], which is the type which represents an arbitrary array of bytes????

re: c++ complaining, wall of text

@aescling @wallhackio “you should use void*” ??????????????????

re: worse re: us pol, violence

@aescling @wallhackio Washington Post, Jan 16, page A2

re: worse re: us pol, violence

@aescling @wallhackio literally front page

worse re: us pol, violence

@aescling @wallhackio i am pretty sure it was in the paper i wouldn’t exactly call it “buried” unless you only get your news from Twitter

@aescling @Satsuma @wallhackio i don’t wanna be like “letting education consume your life is healthy” but also this is the mentality the system is designed to produce

i knew a guy in college who double majored in music and chemistry, both incredibly time-consuming majors, and spent literally every waking moment on one of those two pursuits. he was one of the nicer and more well-adjusted people i knew in college aside from that fact tho

@coriander most second amendment activists are not actual gun nuts and are just pretending. and they probably will not care. but i could see actual gun nuts breaking with the government over this, including a lot of cops and military, who are already quite upset at how things are being handled i imagine

@coriander they are all doing doublespeak about it to cover their asses and are like “the Left is at fault” and “we will wait to see what The Police say” but they are definitely uncomfortable about some things coming from the federal government right now

@coriander « Some high-profile gun rights activists and groups bristled on Saturday at government officials’ claims that federal agents may have been justified in killing a Minneapolis man during a protest because he was carrying a pistol.

The right to bear arms in public has been a mainstay of the gun rights movement.

On Saturday, a Los Angeles federal prosecutor, Bill Essayli, became a magnet for outrage when he wrote on social media that “If you approach law enforcement with a gun, there is a high likelihood they will be legally justified in shooting you. Don’t do it!”

Gun Owners of America, one of the country’s largest gun advocacy groups, said in its own posting that it condemned his “untoward comments.”

The group said that “federal agents are not ‘highly likely’ to be ‘legally justified’ in ‘shooting’ concealed carry licensees who approach while lawfully carrying a firearm. The Second Amendment protects Americans’ right to bear arms while protesting — a right the federal government must not infringe upon.” »

@coriander according to the NY Times some people are upset

@wallhackio oh so when @aescling said dedication she meant to barley tea
