i never learned how to say /ɚ/ properly this is part of the challenge

(/vwɔv seɚʔɫ̩/ if you were wondering the pronunciation of that)

these are all sounds we have in english!! why is this ordering so hard!!

saying words like “vwȣv seꝛɂƛ… is this anything…”

being reminded that my conlang can actually be super fucking difficult to pronounce

is there anything i care about in this? probably not, they wouldn’t tell me if there was, and nobody is going to actually implement it anyway

anyway the english haven’t had a homeland since literally the foundation of themselves as an ethnic category; if there is a people less suited to nationalism i don’t know them

i was thinking about mount olympus (greek) and the olympic mountains (named by an englishman, missing the point)

i’m english so this is basically unfathomable to me

man imagine having a whole host of deities native to your language and culture who just live on like, a mountain near you, that you can visit if you want

most users click away if your website doesn’t load in 2 seconds because most websites aren’t worth 2 seconds

@alyssa i agree with your interpretation, but i think it varies depending on how you read “right” (as in “correct”, or as in “an inalienable privilege”)

“revolutionaries, lock down the campus because it is correct to rebel” is the most straightforward (and probably true) reading

but “they are trying to lock down the campuses because we are asserting our innate right to rebellion” is another reading, which is how this commentor takes it, and i’ve also been confused by in the past
