biden campaign
@coriander the thing is, the debate performance itself hasn’t actually damaged biden’s ratings much in the places that matter, but he seems determined to do everything in his power to specifically anger the people in the party who care about shit like this
biden campaign
@coriander biden gave an interview on WURD Philadelphia to ease concerns about his performance in the debate; it has now come out that the campaign provided the questions that the host asked; the station subsequently asked the host to resign for violating their journalistic independence and jeopardizing listeners trust
biden campaign
• debate fiasco
• “i’ve been staying up past my bedtime”
• no communication for days
• “i don’t believe that voters are actually worried” / “polls are fake news”
• “i’ll be happy if trump wins so long as i tried my best”
• radio interviews to show he can think on his feet; later comes out that they were scripted by the campaign
@gaditb (FreeBSD rm being the ancestor of macOS rm, relevant in my case)
@gaditb rm a b -i c doesn’t work on FreeBSD rm; allowing options after filenames is a GNU-ism
@gaditb lifehack: just start the name of any important file with a period so that rm * doesn’t glob it
@gaditb i feel like there is no guarantee that the -i file will appear first?? also who does `rm *` and not `rm -rf the_directory`
well this is embarrassing

like obviously fair use uses are NOT inherently re·usable, so REUSE does not apply. however,
@aescling @wallhackio i played it a second time in master mode and enjoyed it a lot more than the first time tbh
@coriander this year even the brits are saying fuck the tories
united states politics
@coriander we don’t care about your silly election cosplay just give us somebody to actually vote for jfc
united states politics
@coriander after two elections of screwing over bernie sanders behind the scenes at least this time everyone is on the same page that nothing about them is democratic or fair
re: united states politics
@aescling to the contrary, i think the argument is “it’s okay to use the process to constrain voter’s choices, but not to subvert the process to remedy procedural failures”, which is very amenable to term limits
@packetcat (i blame the switch to USB-C, and the fact that i’m still not sure in 2024 which combination of USB ports a given computer will support)
Administrator / Public Relations for GlitchCat. Not actually glitchy, nor a cat. I wrote the rules for this instance.
