@Satsuma: I think I’m a switchy bottom and you’re a subby top

me: well the seme uke quiz did say that I’m a Chibi Seme

@Satsuma: I have no idea what any of those words mean and I don’t want to

this would have a shot at being real if sounding smart was something which it was politically advantageous to do right now

imagining an alternative future where politicians think talking like yoda makes them sound smart to the masses and then future english speakers just have to deal with a couple centuries of important documents being Like That

oh my god this author means to convince me that both Link and Zelda forgot that a statue of Hylia existed in the temple known primarily for being the oldest place of worship for the goddess Hylia

fanfic authors love doting praise on the men they write for the littlest things

« Zelda’s heart swoops in her chest as she takes in her husband’s considerate words. “Oh, Link.” She can’t stop the tears from falling, smiling as she steps closer to him, tucking her head in his neck as her arms wrap around his torso. “You lovely man, you…” » how many men on the fediverse have been called “you lovely man, you” by their partners

is this a real thing or does it only happen in fanfiction

“you can be a useless lesbian at the farmers market”

“UGH”

@noelle @monorail (it sounds like /dz/ and /dʒ/ to english ears because they aren't aspirated (whereas c and ch are) but technically chinese does not voice any of its consonants [excepting nasals/liquids/semivowels])

@noelle @monorail by which i mean the difference between z and zh is the same in english and chinese it’s just that chinese z is actually /ts/

@noelle @monorail technically it is /ʈʂ/ which is really the chinese way of saying /ʒ/ but china makes fricatives “voiced” by sticking a /t/ in front

facts my partner would have you believe

• frogs aren’t just water squirrels
• they don’t eat tomatoes

relationship

on my screen it looks like 💛🧡❤️❤️🧡💛 but on their screen it looks like ❤️🧡💛💛🧡❤️

@monorail @coriander idk honestly i think they did an admirable job of attempting to fix this by letting you fly to any route on lati@s and not just pokémon centers

like i actually didn't spend that much time on the water in oras compared to the originals
