anyway, if you were wondering, the calendar is solar with three tierces of three months of four weeks of ten days (or two half-weeks of five days?), plus an intercalary (half-)week of five to six days, with the new year on the autumnal solstice
the problem is that there is really very little justification for an alternative calendaring system without accompanying liturgy
the current KIBI calendar is Gregorian but i developed an alternate calendar for Zelda fanfiction which i am strongly considering just switching to because the Gregorian calendar tires me

@coriander there are some things i like about the christian winter season but it's mostly the decision to put a fuckton of spices in everything
