so is mastodon ever going to implement the new version of HTTP Message Signatures or

adjective ordering linguistics poll, food

@Satsuma these are two different things?

@noelle well, if you replace 80s with 00s i’m not sure that doesn't describe Perl 6 / Raku

@witchfynder_finder at least you didn't offer to negotiate with terrorists

@aescling since you asked a bit ago, after having one for a bit i think the kobo libra 2 is a fine cheap ereader wot is not made by amazon

there are aspects of it which are clearly budget (no 5G wifi support lol) but if all you need is to drop some fanfiction epubs via USB-C and read them, it does the trick; the candlelight tinting at night is nice; the touchscreen is not obtrusive and the buttons are good

i like locking it into landscape mode with justified text and big margins; helps accommodate for the smaller size

people at work keep complimenting me for being “passionate” but i’m not sure that’s the word i’d choose

when @aescling plays chess do they do it to nyan shōgi

@aescling it was mostly notable

a) because albums are not an artform we generally think of as receiving continual updates / have traditionally been most receptive to static physical mediums

b) because it was posted literally within a few hours of the album’s release, implying kanye knew wolves was bad and released it anyway, and meaning many people’s first exposure to the song happened after reading that tweet

c) because it was kanye west in early 2016

but it is indicative of a sentiment and ethos which had even then been going on in games for some time

@aescling wolves is a track on kanye west's album the life of pablo

immediately after the album released, kanye posted this tweet. the life of pablo has since received multiple updates to its tracks on streaming platforms, including wolves

as a cultural moment, “Ima fix wolves” encapsulated the contemporary post-internet idea of released, distributed artwork as nevertheless perpetually a work in progress, to be patched or updated at a later time

@witchfynder_finder oscars would be way better if they were just which foreign movies from 20 years ago should have won oscars

@aescling i mean how much value is a physical copy of an unpatched game

@zkat @nleigh it’s a longshot actually making this happen but the library i work for currently conveys (or would like to 😝) its metadata schema via a large YAML file (we use a ruby/rails stack) and i was wondering what it might look like as KDL

github.com/samvera-labs/hounds

what's that cute new configuration file language aiming to replace YAML

when this website was made google’s motto was probably still “Don’t be evil.”

this is a very usable website unlike anything google has invented since the advent of material design
