“interesting” here is acting as a shorthand for “actually interesting”, not “having rare or unexpected qualities”, which would render this statement paradoxical

@eldang look it’s not complicated. i’m saying that if you say “ban cars”, as a shorthand or no, people are going to get offended. if you continue to say it, as a shorthand or no, i can only assume that you are fine with those people getting offended.

so be it. but don’t act surprised when people do, then, get offended.
