superhero origin stories are very funny because in any other genre “why is this character like this” is a closely‐guarded secret they don’t expose until the very end of the movie but in superhero stories it’s in the first fifteen minutes

@monorail in any case German law prohibits him from paying himself “extraordinarily high wages”, to the extent that donations to his patreon are considered payments to Mastodon gGmbH (which i think they are)

@monorail i don’t really know german law but now that mastodon Is A Nonprofit i feel like he might be required to publish more formally where the money is going, idk
