re: baldur's gate 3, moderate spoilers aescling do not read
@aescling @wallhackio you can only say “chill” when your avatar is an ice type pokémon
@wallhackio damn guess it is too early for my RDF propaganda
@aescling @Satsuma @wallhackio that’s where nessa is from???
@aescling @Satsuma @wallhackio it's the best pokémon sword and shield fanfic about fucking
@wallhackio nessa isn’t actually my type btw despite what slander @Satsuma might spew
@wallhackio her hand is literally in fingering position
baldur's gate 3
@wallhackio bard
@Satsuma @wallhackio @aescling remember that fanfic where hop gets horny about gloria’s hair
@wallhackio @Satsuma @aescling sure but it’s hard to peg from bottom
@Satsuma @aescling @wallhackio j doesn't care about nessa's sexuality but is CONVINCED she's a top
@aescling @wallhackio @Satsuma “let catwin get pegged by nessa if he wants!”
@wallhackio what about a directed graph
C++
@wallhackio “returning an lvalue reference” and other statements dreamed up by the truly deranged
re: c++
@wallhackio @aescling my assumption from C, not knowing any C++, is that if you want to be able to do
char* my_string = get_object().string_val;
then you need an xvalue somewhere in there to meaningfully generate that pointer
re: c++
@wallhackio @aescling well if .property is an array doesn't it have to be?
re: c++
@aescling @wallhackio string literals aren’t stored anywhere in C as the C standard does not specify storage. but they do have static storage duration
re: c++
@wallhackio but string literals being lvalues is important in C as it lets you return them from functions
the fact that you can’t get the address of any other kind of literal is weird
Administrator / Public Relations for GlitchCat. Not actually glitchy, nor a cat. I wrote the rules for this instance.
