wait SAI finally released albums?? my japanese jazz aficionados, you have failed me
anyway i’ll do a longer and more involved end-of-year music recap when the year is actually over lol
Notions by Heavy Gus somehow made my Top Albums despite me only learning about it last month which surprises me
Janice Kwan making №4 on the strength of two EPs is a pretty big achievement
“top artists” is at least ranked by minutes so i can share that:

@coriander @aescling yeah people complained because it was only "revealed" in like the credits but anybody with eyes knew within the first thirty seconds so
@coriander @aescling like sure it's a trashy memey kids movie but it is also one of very very few pieces of contemporary cinema which actively uses cinematography as a form of characterization for its protagonist
