@coriander i like that 3D is at least nudging farther and farther away from attempting photorealism and is outright cartoony even
@aescling That is true, CG animation is starting to get pretty stylized, which is Good

granted most of the innovation was in 2D but shhhhhh

@coriander @aescling like sure it's a trashy memey kids movie but it is also one of very very few pieces of contemporary cinema which actively uses cinematography as a form of characterization for its protagonist
