i have no experience in community organizing but here is how i know mastodon does it wrong

@coriander @aescling yeah people complained because it was only "revealed" in like the credits but anybody with eyes knew within the first thirty seconds so

@coriander @aescling like sure it's a trashy memey kids movie but it is also one of very very few pieces of contemporary cinema which actively uses cinematography as a form of characterization for its protagonist

@coriander @aescling first movie in a long time where i was just staring at the screen going “they can just DO that?!?!”

@coriander @aescling the mitchells vs the machines was innovative 3D animation

granted most of the innovation was in 2D but shhhhhh

@aescling you can even subsidize the railroads doing it!! just pay for the sick leave for them!!

anyone want to pick up some of these tasks for me

@aescling but æsc how will the government recognize it then

did not expect to be left with the opinion that the argument against quote tweets is a neoliberalist argument in favour of individualist models of human sociality when i started this chapter on feminist fanzines in the 1970s

the model of intelligence which structures economic relationships in academia is incompatible with community-oriented conceptualizations of knowledge and experience

fewer conversations; more dialectics

« “The Eternal Feminine and Masculine become the poetic fancies of a weakly dimorphic species trying to imitate every other species in a vain search for what is ‘natural.’” »

the canned cadence of a young academic without tenure
