i do not agree with these tech takes, nor any tech takes which view technology as a concept to be explored and not an engineered set of tools for humans to use to complete tasks

@Satsuma (actually for New Style Calendars, the correct date of origin is 1752, which is additionally favourable because it is a leap year)

@Satsuma i would accept 1750 though if you want a New Style Calendar point of origin rather than a Gregorian one

@Satsuma i meant year 0 = 1582, since Gregorian calendar dates before 1582 have to be calculated backwards from that point

petition to change our year numbering to years since the introduction of the Gregorian calendar, since that actually makes sense
