re: no image desc

@Satsuma @aescling i meant it as a joke. as if this graph was a measure of Objective Quality

re: no image desc

@Satsuma @aescling also, it is absolutely devastating that spider-verse is Objectively Better than the tale of princess kaguya

no image desc

@Satsuma @aescling not that you asked, but r/criterion had a thread where redditors shared their personal choices from nytimes.com/interactive/2025/m.
I tracked the results long enough until I got bored and it resulted in the following most popular choices:

@Satsuma @aescling you see, my ability to watch good movies has been largely dependent on my agency regarding media, which I only achieved upon leaving my parents house

@Satsuma @aescling foolish of you to assume that your opinion that it has better camerawork and fight choreo than other martial arts movies would matter to me

that is a HELL of a back-to-back if you have mommy issues, which i may or may not have

Show thread

Shouts out to the day I watched Hereditary and then immediately my mom popped in Bong Joon Ho's Mother and asked if I wanted to watch so then I watched Mother

@aescling i love the incredibles but not as much as these other films.

might have to add it if i can't reach 10

@The_T @Alexis I might add "you're one of those weird movie likers" to my bio, thanks

Forgot how much I loved City of God! And maybe Interstellar, the only nolan film that i really love

Show thread

probably will add everything everywhere all at once

Show thread

I've been trying to make my own list but apparently there are only Three Good Movies
