@packetcat I didn't have issues with the sound mixing, although I do have trouble with accents with movies in general so I would like to watch it again with subtitles

@vaporeon_ if you want to play a 2D Mario then Super Mario 3 (NES), Super Mario World (SNES) are the best to start with. I hear extremely good things about New Super Mario Bros (DS) too but I never played that one.
If you want a 3D Mario then 100% play Super Mario Galaxy (Wii) or Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii). The first one has better atmospheric/spacy vibes while the sequel has a tighter focus on the gameplay and level design. Which one prefers tends to come down to personal taste.
