I did it by making a very simple (and kinda ugly) HTML page that runs all of the packages :]

@vaporeon_ I never actually set up the linux environment, it was essentially gifted to us. I really had no idea what to do when left on my own and I was so busy as a grad student I didn't have time to learn what I was doing

@The_T @vaporeon_ javascript is wonderful but web development is often giga-ass

@vaporeon_ if it makes you feel any better when i was in physics i did use entirely linux (or macintosh) for c++ development

hell, you could even open the javascript console on your web browser and fuck around and find out
