Literally how do you get into serious computer touching without ever installing yourself Linux, I don't get it? 
@vaporeon_ javascript development is very easy on modern bloated OS's now :]
hell, you could even open the javascript console on your web browser and fuck around and find out

@vaporeon_ if it makes you feel any better when i was in physics i did use entirely linux (or macintosh) for c++ development
@vaporeon_ I never actually set up the linux environment, it was essentially gifted to us. I really had no idea what to do when left on my own and I was so busy as a grad student I didn't have time to learn what I was doing
Then why did you stop?
