@/kali_mac ft10 is not the best way to prove who is better too, some people get tired before ft10 ends so its a stamina stuff more than "who is better" stuff
interesting take in that it hits at something but imo is missing the mark widely anyway
there are a lot of reasons one player might be better than another at a game that may not feel like a “who is better” thing, like stamina or reaction time; whatever format you choose to play games in is always gonna bias toward certain skills and devalue others; i don’t know that you can ever measure “who is better” at some platonic version of the game
RE: the email notifications changes in 3.5.1, note that per https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/pull/17984#issuecomment-1092838427 it is possible for the user to rock a preference to continue the current behavior and ignore whether they are online
