part of this has to be nostalgia but i’m surpurrised how good some of the voice work is in the voiced cutscenes from the psx version of rayman 2. razorbeard is a purrticular delight

@vaporeon_ yes, lowercase

when it comes to candy, my biggest weakness is a purroduct called Nerds. idk if you have it in Germany but they’re really tiny little nuggets of rather tart flavor and i can utterly devour that shit

when it comes to food in general, i just really love eggs, especially when scrambled. idk, they’re just a massive comfurt food fur me

@vaporeon_ does that include if you were to eat just plain old nuts by the pawful?

re: computer touching

@wallhackio @vaporeon_ the classic computer toucher pitfall: working so hard on the code to make the blog and then burning out when it comes time to write posts

re: computer touching

@wallhackio the sepurrator fur sed’s s command can be any character, so long as it is consistent throughout the length of the command

sed s@/dir@/otherdir@ requires no escaped furward slashes

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio i think it might be pawsible to nest backticks with backslash escaping, but at that point, maybe just use the new syntax instead

i might be wrong about not being able to purrevent backticks from splitting btw, besides the universal copout of unsetting IFS

🎵 what keeps me from getting sleep / is i picture you instead of sheep 🎵

so apparently there was an animated mario movie from japan in the 80s, a fact i learned from this affectionate semi-gag dub that earnestly tries to create the feeling of a dub that would have been created at the time. it’s a comfy watch; i enjoyed it

@aschmitz inadvertently

Line 3:
echo "hi `shellcheck` lovers"
^-- SC2006 (style): Use $(...) notation instead of legacy backticks `...`.

Did you mean: (apply this, apply all SC2006)
echo "hi $(shellcheck) lovers"

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio i’m very much the type of cat to write code like it’s getting checked by a fairly strict linter at nearly all times
