there used to be a twitter account @gayocats@twitter.com with the display name “Gay Cats”. it was just a catposting bot. i would link to so many tweets from that bot a couple years ago that at least a one of my mutuals started using the term “gayocat” regularly. i eventually created a reposter bot at @gayocats befur the original bot creator created their own Official mastodon account after getting frustrated with twitter. i think that moved bot is down now though. i completely furget what the handle even was lol
