Why is it called "Windows Subsystem for Linux", when what it does is to implement a Linux Subsystem for Windows?
It lets you use a Linux subsystem on your Windows PC
It should be called "Linux Subsystem for Windows"
@vaporeon_ i think it came down to branding. the engineers at microsoft definitely knew better but the company was insistent on the incorrect name
