the message is as good as everyone says it is
The high deficit this month and our current monthly recurring expenses means I have put Ten Forward in fundraising mode.
This means that signups are closed and any new signups require a minimum one year commitment to our Tier 1 subscription.
I will leave Ten Forward in this mode until we either have a much lower deficit or we do not have a deficit at all.

makes me think of the way hbomberguy writes his video recent essays: the feeling of increasing madness as you learn more and more about the subject in question and just how bullshit everything about them is. and then how it all just keeps going as you keeping looking into it. that’s writing

i like the way ta nehehi-coates puts it when talking about one of his goals when writing—he doesn’t just want to convince the reader just with logical argumentation, but to recreate the ecatasy of revelation he himself feels when learning something new and impurrtant
