i think this is why i didn’t care much for how amy was written; yes she is no longer just a Big Ol Sonic Fan but i have no idea when in the games this pretty dramatic character change happened? (rhetorical: it was never on screen)

sonic frontiers’ attempt to pretend sonic games have a coherent overall canon involving every game that’s been made falls flat for me because the games stopped trying to do that after sonic 06. i do not BELIEVE in frontiers’s attempt to retroactively make canon coherent at this point in the franchise

the Commewnist agenda license. it grants the user access to the software, but only if they are using it to help build Commewnism in some way

@packbat websites are allowed to run some script content in the background 24/7 these days so you’re probably running into some unpleasant interaction involving that

when your article begins with “we are living through the most twittery moment of all time” and you’re not sure if the author understands there’s a pretty specific kind of “we” going on there

you know that. i was wrong about sonic frontiers. it made me decide to play an actually truly excellent game, so i guess it’s itself a truly excellent game in the “but for” sense

@monorail oh also, j’s reviews review [sic] is probably the most “it’s okay” review i’ve seen, at least in the sense of “my feelings toward this game swung pretty heavily while i was playing”

@fuzzface there is an extremely meaningful difference between majoritized groups forcibly minorities separated off from them and said minorities doing that, on purrpose, on their own terms
